When participating in the Leerling/Meester project @ Kunstpodium T. Me, Marius Ritiu, Christian Bors and Laura Aranda found ourselves in a temporary collective. Determined to make the best show ever, we started working on a shared project.

The main idea was to present nothing else but the free food and drinks, but present it on lots of different moments. Like these.

However, because we each run our individual business, and our locations and networks were distant from each other,  the collaboration was bound to fail. So we embraced the dynamic and made the worst show ever. By presenting a contract we officially positioned ourselves as lazy and not interested.

Unlike many might think, we don’t see the project as really bad. The empty space me, Marius Ritiu and Christian Bors (Master Loek Grootjans and Laura Aranda did make some work) left during the show did have the effect we wanted to achieve. For we wanted the people to imagine what great things could happen within this space.

Later, when I was invited to take part in a discussion on a panel of students of the Art Education course in Tilburg, this topic was filtered out rather good.
